NextGen Mastiff Training was built from a genuine passion for mastiff and large guardian breeds. From a young age, I was drawn to mastiff-type dogs — not just their size, but their purpose, intelligence, and presence. Over time, that interest turned into a deeper understanding of how these breeds think, behave, and what they require from their owners.

As I began working more closely with these dogs, one thing became clear: many owners were struggling — not because they didn't care, but because they didn't have the right guidance. Large and powerful breeds are often misunderstood, and there are very few trainers willing to properly take on these cases. That's where NextGen Mastiff Training comes in.

My background is in IT, where I spent years working directly with people — understanding problems, simplifying complex situations, and guiding individuals step-by-step toward clear solutions. That same approach now forms the foundation of my training.

This isn't just about training dogs. It's about coaching owners. We focus on structure, clarity, and real-world behaviour — giving you the tools and understanding needed to take control and build a better relationship with your dog.

Nextgenmastifftraining Ltd provides professional dog training, behaviour consultations, puppy support, and structured dog walking services specialising in large and powerful breeds.

Our services are designed to support owners through structure, consistency, and real-world behaviour guidance.

2. Services

Services may include:

  • Behaviour Assessments
  • 1:1 Dog Training Sessions
  • Puppy Support Sessions
  • Structured Dog Walking
  • Behaviour Reinforcement Walks
  • Owner Coaching
  • Follow-Up Sessions
  • Digital or written training plans

All services are subject to availability and suitability. We reserve the right to refuse service where:

  • A dog presents an unsafe risk
  • Required information has not been disclosed
  • The environment is deemed unsafe
  • Welfare concerns are identified

3. Client Responsibility

Owners remain legally responsible for their dog at all times. Clients must:

  • Provide accurate behavioural and medical history
  • Disclose any aggression, bite history, or reactivity
  • Ensure vaccinations are up to date where appropriate
  • Use suitable collars, leads, harnesses, or muzzles if requested
  • Follow training guidance consistently between sessions

Failure to disclose behavioural issues may result in cancellation of services without refund.

4. Payments

Payment is required in advance to secure bookings. Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Bank Transfer
  • Stripe Payment Links
  • Other approved payment platforms

Sessions, packages, or walking services are not confirmed until payment has been received.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand emergencies happen.

Clients cancelling:

  • Minimum 24 hours notice is required to reschedule
  • Less than 24 hours notice may result in loss of session/payment
  • Missed appointments are non-refundable

Nextgenmastifftraining cancellations:

We reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to unsafe weather conditions, illness, emergencies, or unsafe working environments. Where possible, alternative dates will be offered.

6. Refund Policy

Training results depend heavily on owner consistency and implementation. Due to the nature of behavioural work:

  • No guarantees of specific behavioural outcomes are provided
  • Completed sessions are non-refundable
  • Packages are non-refundable once commenced unless agreed otherwise

Refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances.

7. Dog Walking Services

Structured walking services are designed to reinforce calm and controlled behaviour. Owners acknowledge:

  • Walks may include training elements
  • Dogs must be fit and healthy for exercise
  • Dogs displaying unsafe behaviour may require reassessment before continuing services

Where appropriate, dogs may remain on lead for safety and control purposes.

8. Aggressive or Reactive Dogs

Clients must disclose:

  • Bite history
  • Human aggression
  • Dog aggression
  • Resource guarding
  • Escape behaviours

Failure to disclose behavioural concerns places staff, the public, and other dogs at risk and may result in immediate termination of services. Muzzles may be required in certain cases.

9. Veterinary Emergencies

In the event of illness, injury, or emergency, Nextgenmastifftraining Ltd will attempt to contact the owner immediately. If emergency veterinary treatment is required and the owner cannot be reached:

  • We may seek veterinary assistance on the dog's behalf
  • All veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the owner

10. Liability

While every reasonable precaution is taken, dog training and walking involve inherent risks. Nextgenmastifftraining Ltd accepts no liability for:

  • Injury to dogs, owners, handlers, or third parties
  • Damage caused by a dog
  • Loss resulting from undisclosed behavioural issues
  • Incidents occurring outside of training sessions

Clients participate at their own risk. Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where prohibited by UK law.

11. Training Results

Dog training is not an instant process. Results vary depending on:

  • Consistency
  • Environment
  • Genetics
  • Lifestyle
  • Owner implementation
  • Previous learning history

We provide guidance, structure, and coaching, but long-term success depends on owner commitment outside sessions.

12. Media & Content

From time to time, photos or videos may be captured for educational purposes, social media, website content, and marketing. No content featuring a client or dog will be used if consent has been declined. Clients may request removal of media at any time.

13. Website Use

All content, branding, logos, videos, and written materials on this website remain the property of Nextgenmastifftraining Ltd unless otherwise stated. Content may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

14. Privacy

Client information is handled respectfully and stored securely. Personal information will never be sold to third parties. Information may be used for bookings, client communication, service delivery, and legal obligations.

15. Changes To Terms
